The proposed solution to this administrative building with about 5.500m2, to be built in an existent garden surrounded area, is characterised by the spatial distribution in several transversal modules that are articulated with a longitudinal body that ensures the movement between the several functional spaces.
This solution, designed in an integrated manner by the Architecture and Engineering of the several specialties, had as premise the simplicity of the constructive methods and the global economy of the investment (cost of construction and maintenance over the useful life of the building), assuring the integration in the local environment (use of aboriginal materials, creating spaces with great natural light, etc.).
The options that provide the use of passive measures of energy control were privileged, wherever possible, with the use of natural ventilation.
It was also planned and integrated, in the architectural concept and design of the various technical infrastructures, any future expansion of facilities, for which is particularly appropriate to the modular nature of the proposed solution and location of key technical areas on the roofs of the buildings to be built.
