The main components of the New Headquarters are two buildings (warehouse and maintenance workshop) and an administrative/social building. The remaining area, intended mainly for circulation and parking for trucks, has a gas station, an automatic car wash facility, and a small building that works as a reception in the front gate and as technical area.
The warehouse and maintenance workshop are two adjacent buildings, each with a 57m x 24m area. There is unevenness between the two and the warehouse has about 10m height whilst the workshop has a footprint with about 7.5 m. The warehouse is accessible from the outside by dock levelers. The buildings are made of a steel structure, and the roof is composed by a steel sheet with thermal insulation.
The main building is at west of the referred buildings and has 3 floors. The top two are reserved for administrative areas and the ground-floor to social areas. The structure of this building is composed of solid slabs, supported on steel columns and concrete walls. The air treatment in the offices passes through a solution with “treated air” insufflated through the technical floors and extracted through the false ceilings. This solution allows the flexibility needed for the type of open space office.
The finishes in the elevations are made of "sandwich" coating plates, areas with prefabricated concrete, and even glazed surfaces based on aluminum window frames.
The outer layer of the office buildings facades facing south and west have a solution of vertical shaders brises mechanically oriented. These factors contribute not only to the singular image of the building, but also bring environmental benefits and reduced levels of energy expenditure.
