Project for a pedestrian path with an extension of 1100m, to be built by the sea shore between Praia Formosa and Socorridos. Its implantation is done between the 2 and 4m levels in the lower part of the cliffs.
Throughout its extension, 4 types of structural solutions were used:
-”low pavement” in the initial sections, proceeding only to the clearance of the existing cross-way up to the specified levels;
-”elevated ways” of pre-fabricated concrete. The pre-fabrication turned out to be the quickest and cheapest method due to the difficult work conditions in site and the great length of the ways (approx. 950m.
A precast type “TT” solution was adopted for the pillars and slabs, predicting this way having higher material quality control indexes than when compared with in site work.
-”massifs” in ciclopic concrete throughout the route;
-”ample elevated platforms”, where a wooden flooring will be placed over a structure of precast masonry panels, supported by simple porticos made in reinforced concrete.
If the level of the platforms is near the level of the terrain massifs in ciclopic concrete will be made to support the wooden flooring.
