The main characteristic of this building was its shape. Its sizes in the drawing were 101x330 m2. Furthermore, it consisted of a ground floor (access of the trains) on a raised slab of approximately 9 m in height and a parabolic shaped roof, whose height from the ground varied between 17.5 and 25 m.
The main structural elements were arches of 1 or 2 levels, with a variable span of 12 and 33 metres, with a 10 metre space between them. The main trait was that the crossbars were of variable inertia, in the end presenting itself as a parabolic geometry. Pre-casting on site was proposed, making the crossbar produced with a U section, which's interior would be concreted 'in-situ' after assembly.
The slabs, that in general had a span of 10m, were composed by various pre-cast alveolate panels with a thickness of 0.40m and a superior coating of 0.10 concrete 'in-situ'.
The services tubing are embebbed in the alveolate panels and in the beams that support them.
