This year, Afaconsult marks 40 years of activity, reflecting a continuous path of growth, technical rigour and trusted relationships built with clients and partners over four decades.
In this context, the company has strengthened its internal organisation, designed to ensure stability, continuity and a long-term vision. An update of the shareholder structure has been completed with the entry of five new partners — all long-standing Afaconsult employees — who now join the shareholder group alongside Rui Furtado: Carlos Almeida, Marisa Ferreira, Miguel Pereira, Paulo Silva and Rita Castro.
As part of this evolution, Rui Furtado assumes the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, maintaining his position as a reference shareholder and increasingly focusing on the oversight of projects and on the company’s strategic direction, within the framework of a leadership transition plan defined for the coming decade.
Day-to-day management of the company will be ensured by the Executive Committee, composed of Marisa Ferreira, Miguel Pereira and Rita Castro, responsible for overseeing operational activity and ongoing projects.
This evolution has been carefully planned and does not alter Afaconsult’s commitment to its clients and partners. The company continues to rely on the same technical teams, the same rigour and the same proximity that have characterised its work since its foundation.
The management team is complemented by Rodrigo Castro, Raul Serafim and Maria da Luz Santiago, who lead their respective specialist teams and ensure continuity and quality across Afaconsult’s work.
With this organisational reinforcement, Afaconsult strengthens its organisation and capacity to respond, ensuring the continuity and solidity required to meet future challenges.
