Details
Sakthi's New Industrial Unit - Jupiter - has as an industrial process the development and production of critical safety components in nodular cast iron for the automotive industry, standing out for finding reference solutions, combining values of simplicity, economy and functionality.
The building is composed of a mixed structure of concrete and metal pillars arranged in a metric of 10 meters that support a metal roof made of self-supporting plates. The Shed-type nave's shape takes advantage of the North-South orientation, allowing it to direct a large amount of natural light into the interior spaces, in addition to controlling direct sunlight. The building's geometry results from the altimetric variation of different spans 20 meters apart, ranging from 14 meters in height in the storage area (North) to 20 meters in ceiling height in the foundry area (South).
