Details

The design of a building as the Comandante Ferraz Antarctic Station, located in distant and inhospitable territory was a complex process.

For this reason it was necessary since the first Project "sketch" to keep in mind the difficulties of constructing these conditions so adverse. The demand for prefabricated building systems modular, easily transportable and facilitate the assembly "in situ" was the basis of the whole conception.

Construction of the Station began in December 2016, procedure repeated in 2018 and 2019.

The opening of the New Station happened in January 2020.
