Details

The aim of this project is to unify 5 buildings with a view to installing a boutique hotel with luxury accommodation for up to 66 guests.

From the structural point of view, the intervention varied according to the state of conservation of the buildings, and the great difference in elevation between the buildings required a large-scale geotechnical intervention. This intervention had as main difficulty the connection between the two buildings of Largo de S. Domingos and the three buildings of Rua da Vitória, made through a horizontal section (tunnel) and a vertical section with a lift.

As far as the systems are concerned, the most innovative solutions currently on the market were adopted.
